Post Move

Empty Box pick up is usually for our corporate Customers since there is a charge for the service.  The normal range for this service is around $130 for the local area.

Damaged items are always such a heartbreak for the Crew and Customer.  The Crews work very hard trying not have any damage but occassionally it happens!  There are various pieces of paperwork along the moving journey that you will be asked to ascertain if there was any damage or state there was no-damage,  The Walk-Through form has data that will require your attention.

Pictures of the damage and the damaged item is always helpful.  Most of the time, we can obtain a repair estimate based on the picture.  Your Statement of Claim has a requirement that you supply a digital picture.  Most of the time a picture from your cell phone works extremely well.

The level of repairs is determined from your selection of Valuation coverage shown on the Estimate and Bill of Lading.  You can purchase Valution coverage based on the shipment weight (usually $6.00 per pound minimum) plus any Declared Value or High Valued articles at various deductible levels.  Or, you can just choose the Standard Liability which is based on $.60 per pound per article.  This coverage is at no cost but the liability is limited.

You must state your selection of Valuation coverage on the Bill of Lading at the time of loading.
