INTERVIEW
One of the most important events in the relocation process is the interview. The interview obtains customer sensitive information required for a successful relocation. This information is collected by a telephone interview with the customer and by using our exclusive software. The process takes approximately 15-30 minutes, depending on the size of the shipment.
Quick
Within three (3) days of the initial contact, all of the information required for a "good move" is captured. This is compared to the traditional method of in-home estimating that can take 10-14 days to obtain. Using the traditional method, we feel, gathers less information about the customer's moving needs. The same interview techniques are used for our private transferees.
Accurate
Our software program takes the customer on a room-by-room journey through the house; therefore the projections from the interview are very accurate. Estimated shipment weight, estimated carton count, and learning about the customer’s " special items" are easily ascertained from this unique process. All "high-risk" items are listed to determine the best safe handling requirements.
Convenient
Customers appreciate the convenience of getting their move set up with so little effort. Many times, the interview will only take 15-30 minutes to complete, and the customer doesn't have to be home. This is compared to the old method of setting up an appointment, someone going through the home looking around, and taking weeks for the right people to receive the information they need to proceed with the move.
Efficient
Due to the wealth of customer information, shipment information, and the accuracy levels, this method has proven to be very efficient. The interview captures quality information about the customer’s moving needs and reduces confusion in the entire moving process.
